Five years ago Dusan Reljin found out that he needed glasses. It is at the same time he first met Selima. He walked into her store to get a pair of glasses and was fascinated with the selection. She was fascinated with his taste. It developed throughout the years and at one point she suggested out of the blue for them to do a line together. In that instance he didn’t put much thought into it, but the next day he returned to her and told her he wanted to do it. He had no knowledge or experience in the optical industry and really took it like a kid would who discovered Lego for the first time. The collection consists of four designs which summaries all the qualities he personally like in glasses. They are all designs that he would wear. All colors that he likes. They are based on sixties designs when glasses made men cool and women wanting to be like them or be with them. Being a photographer who wears glasses Ihe felt that this was a natural extension of what he does and who he is.
