The French label founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy became renowned for designing the costumes famously worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Now under the creative direction of Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy continues to produce highly imaginative and precisional designs verging on the ‘darkly romantic and slightly melancholic’. To keep emphasis on the streamlined silhouette, colour palettes are constructed in a variety of blacks, greys, whites and beiges with hints of ruby and topaz.
